Who We Are

Company Overview

FPG Oleochemicals Sdn Bhd was incorporated in July 1989 as a joint venture between FGV Holdings Bhd and The Procter & Gamble Company, USA (P&G). Our oleochemical operations is strategically located in the Kuantan Port industrial area. Our plant commenced operations in 1993 and is one of the largest oleochemical companies in the world.

Our range of products include natural-based industrial fatty alcohol, methyl ester and refined glycerin which are marketed and distributed by P&G Chemicals (Link)

Our principal raw material are lauric oils which are available widely in Southeast Asia. Our products meet stringent international standards and certification. The plant has won numerous awards over the years, including various safety awards from MSOSH. In the past we have been voted the best oleochemical company in Malaysia by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board.

As part of our social agenda our Company adopts a zero waste to landfill policy. The waste generated by our manufacturing process are utilized and processed into other useful products by our manufacturing partners. We are also actively pursuing an aggressive reduction in greenhouse gas emission and higher water usage efficiency by 2030. The Company is actively involved in many CSR initiatives focused primarily in the Kuantan area, with hospitals, local town council, schools and in collaboration with other social organizations.

Our employees come from diverse backgrounds and states across Malaysia. These individuals are highly qualified, holding degrees ranging from bachelor’s to master’s degrees, and have received comprehensive training in their area.

We’ve achieved industry leading results in Safety, Quality Certification, Reliability and Customer Service.
